A dog a day… Dougie

Today’s dog is Dougie, a Labrador Retriever mix located in Mission Viejo, California. 

Dougie is  6 years old and was brought to The Pet Rescue Center after his Mommy had to go into a nursing home.

He is a fantastic dog that wants someone to play with and love.  Dougie likes long walks and would do best in a home that can give me structure and daily exercise. He  minds well, has basic training and is very treat motivated to learn new tricks.

Dougie has a very loving personality and he’s a handsome boy. Very sweet natured and looking for a family to love.

Today’s dog is Hans. He’s small, lovable guy located in southern California.

Hans is a Chihuahua & Dachshund mix that’s 4-5 months old. He loves other dogs and kids.

A dog a day… he’s in Ohio, I’m calling him Hopeful

Today’s dog is in Elyria, Ohio and sadly they haven’t even posted his name. I’m going to call him Hopeful and I’m very hopeful someone can help him.

The cost of adopting is $66. Dogs are vaccinated with a parvo combo vaccine and a kennel cough vaccine. Mandatory Spay/neuter is also included at no additional cost.

A dog a day… Maggie

Today’s dog is Maggie, a sweet gal that is located in Clear Lake, California.

Maggie is an adoption return. Her owner has been in and out of the hospital and cannot properly care for her anymore.

She is such a sweet girl with a happy temperament. She is spayed, up to date on vaccines, heart worm tested (negative), and microchipped.

A dog a day… Christmas

Today’s dog is Christmas, a sweet guy located in Mission Viejo, California.

Christmas is a 1 1/2 year old neutered, male lab mix who was rescued as a stray by one of our volunteers. He’s an amazing dog, loves all people, is well behaved and loves dogs of all sizes. He is even great with small children.

His coloring is more beautiful in person with mixed brindle coloring and shepherd markings. A very unique boy indeed.

Christmas has been neutered, is up to date on his vaccinations and is also microchipped.

Christmas would make an excellent pet for any active family with a yard.
