10256899_847493105277932_7920890495120343173_nToday’s dog is in urgent need of our help, he’s sick and not receiving the care he needs from the shelter committed to his care and well being.

My name is Bear, I’m at San Bernardino City Animal Control and I need an angel to help me. I am an unaltered male, black Chow Chow and German Shepherd Dog mix.  The shelter staff think I am about 2 years old. I have been at the shelter since Mar 27, 2014.

I’m sick and need veterinary care. The picture is me in my kennel, I’ve been throwing up and need to see the vet.

Note: The situation at the San Bernardino Animal Control is incredibly sad and in urgent need of change. There are a group of people working to help the animals and bring much needed change. Please support their efforts, network the animals, attend the city council meetings, call and write the city and state officials. Needless animal suffering is not acceptable.

A dog a day…

Each day let’s work together to share and network a dog in need. Let’s save a life.

Today it’s this guy from Stockton, California. I’m not sure of his name but I am sure he looks sad, scared and needs an angel here on earth.  Can you be his angel?

This DOG – ID#A210197

I am a neutered male, fawn and white American Pit Bull Terrier and Chinese Sharpei.

The shelter staff think I am about 3 years old. I have been at the shelter since Mar 26, 2014.

Want to save a dog? Here’s how you can help…

One of my favorite rescues is having a fundraiser – let’s help Bernie save more lives.

In 2013, 802 dogs and 50 cats were rescued from high kill animal controls by
“A Place To Bark”.  Their goal is to save as many, if not more lives in 2014.

Funding is needed for ongoing veterinary care, operational and transport costs. Check out their website or friend them on Facebook and you’ll see the wonderful work that’s being done by A Place to Bark.

You and I can help. From anyplace on the globe, we can make a difference by supporting their fundraising efforts…

Tongue Tied Tuesday from an Angel With Paws

This Tongue Tied Tuesday brings you Dallas, the angel behind our Angel With Paws Tounge Tied Tuesdaymovement.

Dallas loved getting dressed up in her bandanas, that meant company was coming or we were going on an adventure. She also loved celebrating with her family.

Here she’s enjoying a special dog birthday cake complete with instant mashed potato icing.
